Natural gas fire pits are fueled by natural gas, and it is extremely easy to use. Starting a fire is as simple as flipping a switch. Considering how easy they are, it is likely that you will get more use out of it compared to a wood burning fire pit. These fire pits are also able to be installed in a wider variety of places, including on decks. Installation of a natural gas fire pit is contingent on being able to be hooked up to a natural gas line. 

Propane Fire Pits

Propane fire pits are also extremely easy to use and another great option. They do however require the propane tanks to be refilled regularly and require some creativity to hide the unsightly and bulky cannisters.
